Anthony LaScalea was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
He graduated with honors from Auburn University in 2010, majoring in Finance, as well as working as a student baseball manager. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2014 and became licensed to practice law in Texas in the same year. While in law school, LaScalea worked in the athletics department at the University of Oklahoma.
Anthony has experience in Major League Baseball after serving six seasons (2003-08) as a bat boy/clubhouse assistant for the Texas Rangers. In 2008, Anthony worked with the Texas Rangers as a clubhouse attendant for 46 straight games and often slept at Rangers Ballpark following late nights. He later wrote about his experiences.

A tireless supporter of organizations dedicated to improving the quality of schools and education, Anthony has volunteered in schools in Tijuana (Mexico), San Diego, Chicago, New York, and Boston.
He lives in Dallas, Texas.
